Resin or FDM?
Choose resin when
- The model is small and detailed
- Surface finish matters more than toughness
- It's a display piece, not a part that takes impacts
Choose FDM when
- The part is large
- It needs to flex or take knocks
- You want several filament colors, or lower cost on bigger prints

Tradeoffs to know
- Standard resin is more brittle than FDM plastics, so thin parts can snap if dropped or bent.
- Resin models are printed on supports. Small marks where supports were removed are normal.
- Each resin print is a single color. We don't paint prints.
- Large models may need to be split into parts or printed in FDM instead.

- Review. We check scale, supports, and licensing, and contact you if anything needs clarification.
- Quote. You get an estimate for your uploaded file, or a personally reviewed quote within 1 business day for links.
- Print and cure. The model is printed, cleaned, UV-cured, and inspected before packing.
- Ship. Shipped with tracking within the United States.
Frequently asked questions
Is resin stronger than FDM?
Usually not. Resin gives finer detail, but standard resin is more brittle than plastics like PETG or ABS. For functional parts, FDM is usually the better choice.
Can resin prints be multicolor?
Each resin print is one color, and we don't paint prints. If you want several colors, an FDM print with separate color parts may be a better fit.
Are resin prints suitable for medical, dental, or food use?
No. Our resin prints are for hobby, display, and general use. They are not certified for medical, dental, food-contact, or engineering applications.
How long does a resin order take?
Most orders are ready to ship within 2–5 business days. Large, complex, or custom requests can take 5–10 business days, depending on the production queue.
